Portfolio: ELEC (Engineers Labor-Employer Cooperative)

ELEC LogoELEC is a labor-employer trust that brings Local 825 Operating Engineers together with participating employers to secure building projects, create jobs, maintain a credentialed work force and promote the benefits of union labor.

ELEC's role is to distinguish the benefits of union construction and promote its advantages, which translate into real value for contractors, building owners and developers.

ELEC was introduced in September 2012 with a distinctive logo and an entire line of identity materials, from stationery, to website, presentation folder, brochure and more.

Because ELEC represents a constructive collaboration between labor and management, we introduced the tagline: Building On Common Ground.

During ELEC's first year, advertising focused on introducing the new organization, identifying its partners and establishing its unique brand value: "No lead time. No down time. Ready to work on Day One."

ELEC introductory trade ad 2013

During its second year, 2014, ELEC's messaging evolved to show the results of its collaborative efforts, featuring the upscale Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, MedLife Stadium (host of the 2014 Super Bowl), and the Montclair University/NJ Transit train station and parking garage.
